For Family Home Evening a few weeks ago, we went to the Tucson Children's Museum. For those not of our faith, Family Home Evening is a church-wide program in which we set aside Monday nights for family activities, both of a spiritual and a secular, fun nature. Since "Monsoon Mondays" meant that Casey and I paid $1 each for admission and Gavin was free, who can beat a fun-filled evening for $2.75 (we had to park at a meter)? Gavin's favorite was the Jacob's ladder exhibit where he could press a button and send a wave of electricity up two metal rods. He thought he was the smartest kid there!
Dinosaurs aren't that scary...especially if you have no idea what they are.
